Architect
about Mark
I became friends with Martin in high school, and we both studied Architecture at the University of New South Wales (UNSW). In 1997/98, I completed three international design studios as an exchange student at the School of Architecture at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Sweden. I graduated with honours from UNSW in 1999. Early in my career, I worked for Travis McEwen (Architectus), gaining valuable experience on large mixed-use projects across Australasia and high-end residential developments, collaborating with firms like Terroir and others.
I later completed postgraduate studies at The Bartlett, University College London, earning a Diploma in Professional Practice and Management in Architecture. I became a chartered member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and registered with the Architects Registration Board (ARB), becoming a fully licensed architect in the UK. Throughout my career, I have held senior design and management positions at several high-profile practices in London, including Associate at Michael Aukett Architects, Associate Director at Squire and Partners, and Head of Architecture at Harrison Varma.
I went on to establish my own Architecture and Interiors company, ‘Archilibrium,’ which I ran successfully with my partner, Interior Designer Lucile Airault, delivering bespoke residential projects for private clients. Over the years, I have accumulated extensive experience working on a wide range of projects, including town centre mixed-use developments, transport schemes, high-end commercial offices, large retail stores, hotels, leisure facilities, and luxury residential developments. I have a passion for detailed design and building technology, having collaborated with world-leading façade engineers and specialist contractors. I also detailed some of London’s first residential developments constructed on vibration isolation springs and elastomeric bearings to mitigate noise from underground trains.
With extensive site experience, I served as Resident Architect for Squire and Partners, stationed onsite to run design surgeries and resolve complex construction details. I have managed the design and delivery of prestigious buildings across London and the UK, including 150 Cheapside (opposite St. Paul’s Cathedral), London’s first Breeam Excellent office development featuring a curved glass passive façade and Europe’s longest internal glass bridge; 100 Cheapside, a landmark London office building known as ‘The Sugar Cube’ for its unique stacked cube façade design; The Frames at 1 Phipp St in Shoreditch, a trendy industrial-style London Brick building with black crittall windows and rusted steel reveals; Morrisons supermarket in Leamington Spa, a flagship supermarket with a folded patinated copper roof; Ebury Square, an ultra-luxury residential development in Belgravia; St. John’s Wood Square, a super-prime residential development with the UK’s largest residential basement; and Buxmead, a luxury residence of horizontal penthouses on Bishops Avenue, known as London’s Billionaires Row.
After 20 years working in London, including 10 years in private practice, I returned to Australia and rejoined forces with Martin and the team to offer a personal service to clients, backed by a wealth of design and detailed experience.

Lucile Airault
Interior Designer
about Lucile
I graduated as an Interior Designer from Kingston University in London. In my formative years, I gained valuable experience working on high-spec interiors within boutique design firms. I later established an Architectural & Interior Design practice, which I owned and ran with my partner Mark Robinson in London for 10 years. Together, we designed new homes and extensions for private clients, as well as complex commercial schemes for businesses. We became renowned for providing bespoke architectural solutions with full interior fit-outs and a high level of customer service.
One of my key attributes is my ability to deliver each project with a personal touch of interior design, drawing from a broad style spectrum that ranges from traditional and classic to modern and contemporary. I began working remotely with Archispectrum in 2022 through my UK firm and joined the practice in Sydney after moving to Australia in 2023. I currently assist the team with the production of drawings for all projects, bringing a keen approach and passion for both design and detail, always ready to add a touch of natural design flair.
